International Institute of Deaf Services, Inc. will host its 13th annual conference, IMPARTATION “Taking Root-Bearing Fruit” Isaiah 37:31 (More than a Conference, but an Encounter with God), October 5-9, 2011.
As the conference name suggests, the emphasis is on imparting spiritual truths as well as professional development into the lives of those who attend. The workshops, power sessions, and plenary sessions provide deaf individuals an opportunity to become empowered in the area of deaf leadership, deaf ministry, and spiritual development. In addition, they provide sign language interpreters from around the world an opportunity to earn up to 1.8 CEUs, enhancing their current interpreter skills. Both, deaf and hearing participants have plenty of time to meet new people, network, and share ideas and experiences. The event is culminated with a banquet featuring a key note address from one of the top personalities in the field of deafness/interpreting.
Deaf individuals, students, professionals in the field of sign language interpretation, sign language educators, religious interpreters, Christian educators, pastors, ministry leaders and others will come to Birmingham for an enhancing experience.
This conference would serve as a great opportunity for you or your organization to exhibit your products and services. The participants are always in search of goods they believe will enhance their performance and marketability. Whether you are offering learning tools, clothing or business accessories, your products will prove to be beneficial to their professional and personal growth. Vendors are encouraged to set up by 6pm the day prior to the conference start. Registration will be open and the vendor area will be accessible to all conference attendees.
