International Institute of Deaf Services is seeking
Ambassadors who are motivated, enthusiastic, Spirit-filled, and hard working to
serve during our annual conference, October 6-9, 2011. Ambassadors will arrive the
day prior to conference start,
October 5, 2011 not later than 10am. Ambassadors remain
until Sunday afternoon, October 9, 2011 at 3pm.
The Ambassadors will be responsible for assisting the Ambassador Coordinator,
Conference Coordinator, and Interpreter Coordinator, making copies, running errands,
serving as greeters, attending workshops as directive by the Ambassador Coordinator,
or other duties as necessary during the conference.
The Ambassadors will receive: Complimentary conference registration, interaction with Presenters,
designated meals and shared lodging.
The Ambassadors must be a full time student in an Interpreter Training Program or be active in their
church’s Deaf Ministry.

The following items MUST all be submitted as a package to the IMPARTATION Ambassador Coordinator by March 1, 2011, for your application to be considered. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
• A cover letter indicating why you would like to work as an Ambassador.
• Two (2) Letters of recommendation
o From a certified Interpreter and or a member of the Deaf community and
o From a church leader on Church stationary (if involved in Church Deaf Ministry) or a faculty member or administrator of the ITP on Official Letter Head
